The feel good feeling often associated with the benefits of massage, and is due to the release of endorphins that produce a feeling of wellbeing whilst stress causing hormones such as adrenalin, cortisol and norepinephrine are reduced.  All of these factors combined promote a feeling of deep relaxation and calmness and assist to reduce anxiety and depression.

In turn, when combined with correct injury management processes can speed up injury recovery. These systems allow the body to find a level of homeostasis ‘steady state’, to keep the body healthy.
