Why Diets Don't WorkWhy Diets Don’t Work. Our body needs fuel to function. Where do we get this fuel from? The food that we eat!

Many diets restrict or eliminate food intake from particular food groups, often to the point where our daily energy intake is well below what we require to function. This means our body must get it from somewhere else – namely fat.

In essence, we store more fat from the food we eat to enable us to produce the energy we need. The bad news is our fat cells simply multiple to allow for this greater storage ability – and once we have them, we are stuck with them for good!  This is one of the reasons why diets don’t work. Cleansing the body by providing it with adequate vitamins, nutrients and minerals through a well balanced diet is key.
